Teacher Worklife is created with over 21 years experience as a teacher, senior leader and trade union rep/caseworker.

It challenges the idea that exhaustion and burn out is just part of the job. This photo was taken at the edge of a Norwegian fjord. Its stillness sparked Teacher Worklife, with the goal of helping teachers make the job sustainable.

That fjord moment was clear, what if teachers and leaders had support to thrive? What if they had tools to protect wellbeing?

Welcome to Teacher Worklife

It is like having a quiet, honest conversation with a trusted colleague in the staffroom.

Welcome to Teacher Worklife

Teacher Worklife is a values-driven approach that prioritises accessibility, with the aim to be totally FREE. It exists to support teachers and help make the profession more sustainable. Teaching is facing a recruitment and retention crisis, and too many educators are feeling the pressure. The demands of the role have grown to the point where many are questioning how long they can keep going.

Teaching doesn’t have to be this hard

I believe that while the system may not change overnight, teachers can take steps to improve their own working lives. It should not be this difficult to do such important work! My aim is to make the job sustainable for every teacher.

Many teachers are not in a position to leave. Others want to stay because they are deeply committed to helping young people succeed. If you are a teacher or school leader who feels like you could use some support, please reach out or explore how I might be able to help.
